About Us

Heron Cabinetry was founded in 2021 in historic Frenchtown, New Jersey. We make custom furniture and cabinetry using the finest materials and traditional joinery techniques. We strive to provide an exceptional customer service experience, making the journey of creating a dream kitchen or furniture piece stress free and memorable.
Craig Donaldson is from Musselburgh, Scotland and completed his apprenticeship as a joiner in Toronto, Ontario.  Passionate about his trade; Craig  has worked as a joiner, cabinet maker and site supervisor for over 20 years on projects in Toronto, Vancouver,  Santa Fe and New York City before settling in Frenchtown New Jersey with his family.

Our Commitment

Heron Cabinetry is committed to using sustainably sourced materials and zero or low-VOC finishes whenever possible. We do this to protect the health of our crew, our clients and their families. We are also aware of the impact that woodworking and home remodeling have on the environment. To help offset these impacts,  we donate 3% of all profits to The Nature Conservancy and their one billion trees planted program.
